Salix Candida is an unusual variety from North America. A very attractive ornamental willow with thick stems and large furry foliage, which grows around 1.5m per year into a small shrub growing up-to 3m in height. This tactile variety is great for use as cut foliage for floristry in summer months. Large yellow catkins appear in early spring which can be cut for use in floristry or left out outside for pollinating wildlife.
