Excellent ornamental willow, which if left will grow into a tall tree up-to 30m. However with annual pruning, its year-old stems are its most distinguishing characteristic, as these are a bright yellow or orange providing wonderful colour in winter - making them ideal for hedges or to enhance a winter landscape. The strong flexible rods are also excellent for basketry/weaving projects as well as some living structure projects.
