About the event
The Deeside Willow team is partnering with the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve to offer a free beginners willow workshop.
Come and spend a few hours weaving your very own willow dragonfly with the fantastic Deeside Willow Team
Join our Reserve staff and Deeside Willow for a Flying Beasties workshop. Reserve staff will start with a brief setting of the scene and tell you a bit about the magnificent dragonflys that we find here at Muir of Dinnet. You will then work with the Deeside Willow team to learn about how to work with willow and weave your own willow dragonfly.
Whilst this is a family friendly event, it is suitable for anyone aged 10 or older due to the skills and strength needed to work with the willow material. Anyone attending under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring refreshments.
